Supporting aspiring women and advocating for a new world of work
- IF you’ve ever felt lonely and frustrated by the rigid structures and systems of traditional workplaces...
- IF you’ve ever been confused about how to navigate a new world of work...
- IF you’ve ever wondered, ‘How are other women doing this - balancing meaningful careers, family and other commitments?’...
Welcome! You’re in the right place.
I’m Aleisha Coote and my passion is helping aspiring women balance career, family and other commitments with clarity and confidence. I spent over a decade developing my own career in marketing communications before having my first child and switching my focus from championing brands to advocating for a new world of work:
- a world where both masculine and feminine qualities are respected
- where individuals can bring their whole, authentic selves to work
- and where motherhood and leadership are not viewed as dichotomous.
Through my Coaching Accountability Groups, I bring together small groups of driven women to discuss the honest challenges of balancing career, family and other commitments, to get clear on what they truly want in this next chapter of their lives, and develop the mindsets, skills and plans to confidently take charge of their transitions.

The World of Coaching
I’m currently a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and the current President of the ICF New Zealand Northern Branch Leadership Team.
I’m passionate about the world of professional coaching and the ability for this profession to support the thriving human spirit.
Champions for Change
Convened by Global Women, Champions for Change is a group of New Zealand CEO’s and Chairs from across the public and private sectors who are committed to raising awareness of the value of diversity and inclusiveness throughout the wider business community.
As Programme Manager for this initiative, I’m advocating for a new world of work.
On a personal note...
If a lawyer, a teacher and a hippie had a love child ... that would be me! I’m a strategic thinker mixed with serial enthusiast for people projects, and I believe in a community approach to achieving lasting results. This means relationships, collaboration and connection are key drivers for the way I approach my work.
I’m a lover of people, great food, yoga, travel and human behaviour. I live with my husband, Hayden, and son, Xavier, in Auckland, New Zealand and we are currently in the process of building our family home on the Pohutukawa Coast.
We have travelled to more than 30 countries around the globe, and are proud to call New Zealand our home. Our favourite thing about Auckland is the surrounding islands and Hauraki Gulf, and we spend loads of time on the water.
And that’s me! In a short wrap anyway. I’m always up for a good coffee and cheese scone so feel free to pop me a note if you’re keen to connect.
